This is bad ass.  You can always count on MIT's Media Lab to come up with something incredible.  Created by Daniel Leithinger and Sean Follmer, the Tangible Media Group at MIT has unveiled a futuristic display made of atoms, not pixels.  Instead of video conferencing, this is one step closer to physical conferencing. 

Can't wait.
